It's a common belief that drawing human figures is tough and it could take years of practice before you can draw like a pro. Well, with a few smart hacks your human figure drawings can get close to perfection, within a few weeks of regular practice. Drawing human figures is actually simple if done the right way.
This workshop is for the kid in you, that wants to draw human figures, superheroes, and other mythical stuff from imagination. You could overcome your fear of bad sketching. You would master the first step to creating beautiful illustrations, character designing, comics, storyboarding, or even your daily journaling.
Rapid sketching is an exercise that aids the hand to move quickly, sketching any subject one has in front of them. It is usually done freehand and covers the basic outline of the subject. It does not go into the nuances or fine-detailing of the subject. This renders an imperfect yet perfect finish to the sketch. a pro. Well, with a few smart hacks your human figure drawings can get close to perfection, within a few weeks of regular practice. Drawing human figures is actually simple if done the right way.
Figure sketching is a concept that is closely associated with Rapid sketching. Under this, a set of reference images is taken as a subject. The artist is required to focus on the references and recreate the pose with just a few simple lines - The Stick Figure. Later, the artist builds volume upon the stick figure to create a mannequin-like body - Volumetric Drawing. With this wireframe as our guide, we add definitions with rapid sketching to create the final human figure sketches.

About the educator
Eesha, is a visual branding consultant, illustrator, and artpreneur. She has been in the creative industry for 8 years, during the course of which she worked as a freelance storyboard artist, a visual content ideator, graphic designer, illustrator, and brand strategist. She is the founder of Pagic Studio, a Visual Branding Agency.
